HAWKE Announces FALL Open House Sunday December 2nd please join now and support native wildlife

HAWKE, the Humane Association of Wildlife Care and Education, Inc. Announces their FALL OPEN HOUSE, For current members, HAWKE new members and Special Invited guests. You can join now by going to HAWKE’ s website or send a check to HAWKE,Inc P.O.BOX 188 Elkton Fl. 32033 It will be held a on Sunday December 2nd  from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. This event will directly benefit HAWKE’s ongoing mission of rehabilitation of  injured and orphaned wildlife with the goal of a second chance to freedom.

The event will be held at the HAWKE professional rehabilitation facility in Elkton,  St. Johns Co Florida. Email HAWKE for directions. This members-only  event and will feature personal tours of the rehabilitation facility, refreshments, and getting to meet  the educational birds. Come out and meet the volunteers and officers of HAWKE and president Melanie Cain Stage will be glad to answer your questions  Waiting for your visit will be : a Peregrine Falcon, Barred, Great Horned, and Screech owls, plus Mohawk our Red Shouldered Hawk . You can enjoy watching the antics our 3 playful river otters, they love to put on a show. You will enjoy one of our most entertaining birds ” Edgar A. Poe” the albino talking crow he says hi and bye and his friend the Swallow Tail Kite. Poe and others  will be shown on a falconers glove. We also have turtles. and other wildlife.  Our ICU patient room, feed room, hospital room,and outdoor animal housing facility will be open for the tour. However, for the protection of the animals, wildlife under rehabilitation will not be on display. This is a chance to see where your donations go an learn environmental information and interesting facts about these amazing creatures close up and personal.

We extend this special invitation to current members, individuals who have been volunteers, and those people who have donated advertising, money, services, or supplies and helped at our center.  Guests are welcome if they plan to join HAWKE that day they must email ahead and bring a check or pay pal receipt. A single membership is only $25.00. A family membership donation (one house hold ) is only $35.00 – You can also donate more. Enjoy soft drinks and homemade goodies under the moss-covered oaks.  We will be releasing a bird of prey at 2:00
