St Johns Veterinary Hospital And Cat Clinic

The practice was founded in 1980 by Dr. Jack Shuler. He started the veterinary hospital in a small house on the current location. The practice quickly outgrew the house requiring the construction of a new 5000 square foot hospital on the site.

Drs. Quelch and Gendzier purchased the veterinary practice and hospital from Dr. Shuler in 1991. Dr. Gendzier and Dr. Quelch met and married while in veterinary college at the University of Florida. Veterinarians conducting rounds discussion

The veterinary hospital continues to grow with a philosophy of academic excellence for the veterinary team. All the veterinarians strive to stay current with the latest information and procedures.

The hospital itself has been doubled in size to 10,000 square feet and has been remodeled to provide a state of the art intensive care area.

The Alligator Farm’s history as an attraction and an accredited zoo is nearly as exciting as zipping across the Alligator Lagoon on Crocodile Crossing, the park’s thrilling new zip-line attraction.
